After AI-optimized generate, the audit names the match that broke a blackout, coach overlap, or court hour. Fill remaining, Hail Mary, or drag the leftover. Locks stay put.

What makes TazSchedule’s auto-schedule different?

Can the assignor place refs without admin access?
Yes. The officials portal is a login for the assignor: filter by week, day, venue, or court, place sport-aware refs, download a PDF or CSV sheet, and mark who worked.
Do I still get manual control after auto-schedule?
Yes. TazSchedule does the heavy lifting, then you keep full manual adjustments: Pack leftovers, Hail Mary, drag-and-drop on the Court Grid, and locks so confirmed games stay put.
Can I import from the registration platform I already use?
Yes. Upload a CSV or Excel team export from whatever registration platform or spreadsheet you already use, or start from a template. Setup is a review step, not a retyping step.
What do families see on the public link?
One event home: find a team, open a division for pools and the bracket, see the venue address, and follow live scores. Optional Buy Tickets / Shop buttons appear when you paste TazTix and TazCart URLs. No parent account. Texting families is not in yet — this page is how they follow the weekend.
Can I print the finished schedule?
Yes. Export a printable schedule PDF or a spreadsheet once conflicts are clear, so directors and front desks get the same slate. CSV and Excel layouts are there when that is how you publish.
What happens when a team enters late?
Add the team and fill the remaining slots. Matches you have already locked stay where they are, so a late entry does not rebuild the weekend.
Can it handle a venue that closes mid-day?
Yes. Court availability is read per block rather than per day, so a gym that closes at noon on Sunday is modelled as it actually is, and the conflict audit enforces it.
What if I want to try a different structure?
Back the competition up, regenerate with AI-optimized auto-schedule, and restore if the first version was better. Experimenting costs nothing — that is part of getting your weekend back.
Do you charge per staff member or per team?
No. Add as many directors, scorekeepers, and volunteers as you need. Monthly and Annual are flat for one organization — unlimited teams. A 200-team tournament costs the same as a 20-team one.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Build a competition, run auto-schedule, and check the conflict audit before paying anything. Payment is required only to export.
